Banking on Developer Experience at Banked.
Joe Pettersson explains the benefits excellent developer experience brings to software sales. We also talk to Danielle Krage and learn about her 100 Women public speaking coaching course.
The importance of excellent Developer Experience
In a world where you can be anything - be kind to a developer! I wouldn’t be surprised if Joe Pettersson has this on a poster in his office. Joe is the CTO of Banked and they have unashamedly embraced developer experience. More specifically, they accept and lean in to the importance of positive onboarding experiences for developers to their sales efforts.
In his podcast conversation with me, Joe shares a clear example of how their excellent software coupled with supporting developers tasked with implementing it has won them business from word of mouth referrals. Word of mouth is so important, that Banked now use it as key DevRel success metric. This blew my mind, and you can hear Joe give details about it in this episode.
You’re probably talking too much
As conferences are very much back in person, I took the opportunity to invite back to our Fireside with Voxgig podcast Danielle Krage to give our audience her expert advice and guidance on how to be a better conference speaker. Cut, cut, cut those slides.
OK, OK, I may have turned it in to a personal one-to-one coaching session, but at least you get to experience Danielle’s brilliant intervention with a real, live patient!
Danielle runs The Remote Speaking Coach and through that is offering the 100 Women public speaking coaching course. Get in touch now to secure your spot!
We also had our August meetup last Wednesday, so stay tuned for the videos to go live and for the announcement of our next meetup in September! Visit the dedicated site to learn more.
