Like a kid in a candy store, this week I was a bit overwhelmed! Apart from watching my diction and pronunciation, (Megan Salter is a voice over artist too) I was blown away by the numerous tools and experiments and the amount of thought and consideration Megan brings to her work as Community Manager for CTO Craft.
If you’re not familiar with CTO Craft it is a business that has grown out of a community. They offer a safe space for CTOs to network and support each other. It can be lonely sometimes when you have the complete technological success, failure, strategy and maneuverability of a company resting on your shoulders! So CTO Crafts Slack channel offers the opportunity to check your thinking with peers.
In this week’s Fireside with Voxgig podcast, Megan and I discuss the success of CTO Craft but also the nitty gritty on managing community.
As proof of success, the upcoming CTO Craft conference is sold out! This first in person conference in London, on 23rd and 24th of this month may be sold out, but they are announcing a November conference, so you can check out the outcomes of the May conference to make sure you book early for the November version!
